Propecia.

Propecia (finasteride) can be prescribed for patients that need to re-grow their hair on the vertex and the anterior mid-scalp area. This drug is supposed to be taken according to the directions your doctor provided to make sure you benefit from the treatment as much as possible. Tell your doctor if you have bladder muscle disorder, prostate cancer, abnormal liver enzyme tests, inability to urinate or trouble urinating, stricture of your urethra, liver disease, or any other medical conditions that may be important when determining how much you are going to benefit from the treatment. The following mild side effects are possible when Propecia is taken: abnormal ejaculation, weakness, swelling or tenderness in your breasts, pain in the testicles, runny nose, dizziness, impotence, headache, skin rash, and swelling in your hands or feet. They do not need to be reported unless they get severe and change in intensity. More serious side effects, such as breast lumps, any unusual breast changes, breast pain, and nipple discharge need to be reported immediately to your doctor as they may indicate male breast cancer. Take Propecia once a day at the same time unless otherwise recommended.
